We’re thrilled to finally share the results of Forrester’s research on the Total Economic Impact of Beckon! For years our customers have been telling us that using Beckon has transformed their business. And, while it’s easy to understand how real-time insight into omnichannel marketing performance might help us make better, faster marketing decisions, the benefits had not yet been quantified. As a data-driven company, we wanted to find out.
Beckon commissioned Forrester Consulting as a neutral third party to survey and talk with our customers to calculate the benefit of using Beckon. Through interviews and surveys with 11 existing customers and subsequent financial analysis, Forrester found the ROI of Beckon to be 513% with a payback period of one month and over $8.5 million in benefits.
And that’s only the beginning. The report also concluded that with Beckon, marketing budget optimization improvements averaged 12.7% and were reported to be as high as 20%, resulting in over $8.5 million in improved return on marketing investment (ROMI). Forrester found that, using Beckon, marketing leaders could review performance data more frequently, gather insights, and make investment changes to optimize the budget. Before Beckon, they were unable to collect the data insights quickly enough to reallocate across their performance categories (such as channels, regions, and agencies) to maximize their investments.
In addition to optimization benefits, Forrester documented a significant reduction in costs to create reports and marketing analytics headcounts—more than $1 million over three years.
