As the year starts winding down, we’re super excited at Beckon to have received a special acknowledgement from Inc. Magazine—having been named one of the 10 Best New Marketing Technologies of 2015. Being recognized as a pack leader in such a highly competitive space of such rapid innovation truly is quite an honor.
The number of martech companies doubled since 2014—there are now nearly 2,000. We Beckonites very much understand what a crowded, confusing marketplace it can be. As the global marketing leaders we speak with everyday can attest, there’s a lot to consider, and the marketing technology consideration set just keeps getting bigger.
Naturally at Beckon, we see ourselves as playing a vital role in the martech ecosystem. We believe clean, structured marketing data and marketing-specific visualization and reporting are modern marketing fundamentals. It’s our mission to help marketers to better understand and beautifully communicate all the good work they do in an extremely fragmented, challenging environment and we think it’s an important one. So it’s especially nice when someone else recognizes that, too. We’re all terribly proud of having been recently called out by Inc. Magazine in this way—for solving “a big problem for enterprise CMOs”.
It has been an amazing year for us at Beckon. We’ve grown the business and the product significantly—rolling out marketing scorecards, new dashboards, adding custom calendar features just to name a few of the highlights. And while internally, we always celebrate our accomplishments (it’s one of the great things about working here!), it really is gratifying to also be celebrated by those who see us from the outside.
